Seattle-based comedian and storyteller Emma Schmuckler was getting fed up of getting booked as the “diversity woman” on comedy showcases featuring lineups of 5 white dudes who hate their wives. That’s why she created One Man Show, a comedy showcase highlighting the hilarious voices of the northwest’s best female and non-binary comedians (and also one man, for diversity). One Man Show features hate free comedy, with none of the jokes being told at the expense of marginalized communities.
